Eurotour
A Wonderous Journey

TEMP invites you to join us in a journey of more than 600 years of musical transformation, gathered through our 39 years of exploring early music repertoire as an ensemble. Apart from our annual Joy and Light: Delights of the Season concert, we will present a concert season that will be an early music primer for both the long-time fans and for those newly attracted to early music. In these three programs (one each for the Medieval period, the Renaissance, and the early Baroque) you’ll hear some old (very old) favorites and discover many “new” ancient tunes, some that we haven’t performed for decades. It’s Early Music 101 but without a final exam. You’ll be transported by the sounds of rich and diverse cultures while tasting the harmonic palettes and musical delights of our ancestors.

Unlike previous years, the ticketing system fees are included in the total.

Like previous years, confusingly, if you selected VIP seats, they are not clearly mentioned in the grand total right before payment. Still, the cost is included, and you have, in fact, reserved VIP seats.

If you would like to use your TEMPster perks for donations of $1000 per individual or $1500 per couple per concert season, please fill out THIS FORM to upgrade to VIP or to request two free tickets for your friends. You will need to purchase your season tickets first in order for us to add the upgrade.

We continue our tour of musical change with sophisticated selections from the early Renaissance, featuring the Franco-

Saturday, April 17, 2027 at 7:30pm
at Redeemer Presbyterian

Sunday, April 18, 2027 at 3:00pm

The final stop on our tour begins with the drama inherent in the expression of text and human emotions, which often changes suddenly and without warning in the early Baroque music of Monteverdi, Strozzi, Charpentier, Schütz, and others. Theatrical presentations, instrumental independence and virtuosity, and vocal contrasts mark the highlights of music from England, France, the Netherlands, and Italy.
