Dr. Steven “Feck” Hendrickson earned his Bachelor’s degree in trombone performance from Iowa State University, and finished a masters and doctorate in the same at the University of Texas at Austin under the tutelage of Mr. Donald Knaub. Since then he has enjoyed teaching students at Texas A&M Kingsville and Southwestern University, as well as performing in a variety of ensembles in Texas. Since taking up the sackbut he has studied at the Texas Toot with Tom Zajac and Robert Wiemken, both of Piffaro, and has performed with Texas Early Music Project and Ensemble Settecento (now Austin Baroque Orchestra). Feck currently lives in Taylor in a cute old house with his cute wife, Cayla.
